Helichrysum italicum (Roth.) Guss.

    Evergreen half-bush of 60 cm high, 90 cm in diameter, compact. Flowers are bright orange. Mass blossom is in the 2 decade of July. Fruiting is in the 1-2 decade of August. 130 days pass from the beginning  of vegetation up to the ripening of seeds. Productivity of raw material is 48,9 c/ha. The mass part of essential oil is 0,20% from the mass of raw material. The output of essential oil is 9,8 kg/ha. The main component of essential oil is lynalool (30,5%).
    Variety is drought resistant. It grows good on brown, red, lime and mountain-forest soils and other soils with hard mechanical composition. It resist to negative temperatures (-25C). It is resistant to pests and diseases. It can be used in landscape gardening.
